The KPMG Business Golf League began in 1996 and has become an established annual event within the North-East Scotland business community. Last year teams from the North-East and Tayside enjoyed competing in the competition. Over the summer months teams play against each other on a home or away basis within leagues of 6 in a round robin format. The winners of each league together with some lucky runners-up then progress through to the Finals Day which was again played at Moray Golf Club, Lossiemouth. On a somewhat testing September day the winners after a closely fought battle were AJT Engineering Ltd.
