The region is extremely important to KPMG and we share a long history stretching back well over a century. The first office of Peat Marwick was established in the north east over 125 years ago, and following a series of mergers, became KPMG in 1987.
Now employing over 170 staff and led by a strong team of partners and directors, we remain delighted to work with businesses in this region - from growing start-ups and owner managed businesses to blue chip plc's and public sector organisations. They are all part of the fabric of this dynamic region and play a vital role in the economy.
