Transcript:

Bryan Cruickshank: I’m delighted to announce KPMG have acquired Xantus.

Steve and I wanted to take this opportunity to explain the strategic importance to you, our clients and prospects, of us coming together and the commitment we believe we’ve made in doing this that will make a material difference to you.

As a CIO, your role and the role of technology in contributing to the strategy and operation of your business grow in importance every day. We wanted to extend our capabilities to provide a much broader CIO advisory team that focuses on helping you with your most complex IT issues and challenges.

Xantus has great credentials as one of the leading management consultancies in the UK, specialising in CIO advisory services.

Steve Watmough: We are really pleased to be part of KPMG. Xantus, like KPMG, work with many of the largest and most successful companies in the world. We’ve won a number of awards, which recognise the quality of our work, most recently won the Best Strategy Project at the 2011 Management Consulting Industry awards.

Most importantly we both believe in creating real and lasting relationships with our clients, which give them an insight and a depth of knowledge, which support their business and delivers real and tangible benefits.

BC:The combination of KPMG and Xantus, along with our recent acquisition of IT sourcing specialist EquaTerra, means that we can offer a full suite of advice to the CIO, from strategy to operating model, architecture to sourcing and infrastructure. Importantly, we will continue to offer an independent perspective, a key differentiator from other advisors in the market.

SW: Now that Xantus is part of KPMG, our expanded CIO Advisory team, brings together the specialist expertise and insight of Xantus together with the broader capabilities and global reach of KPMG.

BC: I’m very pleased to welcome Xantus into KPMG and look forward to working together.

This is an exciting and important strategic acquisition. Xantus is one of the leading management consultancies in the UK specialising in CIO advisory services. The acquisition brings together the deep expertise and insight of Xantus together with the broader capabilities of KPMG. In particular, building on our position as the largest global sourcing advisor in the market. This means we can now offer you a wider range of experienced professionals focusing specifically on the CIO agenda. Uniquely, we continue to offer you an independent point of view, a key differentiator from other advisors in the market.
