Media and Entertainment Barometer: Breakthrough for online streaming

Media and Entertainment Barometer: Breakthrough for online streaming:

Man 1: The mobile phone I use does everything I want. It obviously does phone calls, internet, email and text messaging.

Man 2: The tablet is just too big to carry all the time, so the smartphone is in the pocket and it is just always with me.

Lady 1: My smartphone, because it is smaller and you can take it everywhere and you can go on the internet anywhere. I am naturally attached to it.

Lady 2: I think that once you have one, you just get so used to it and you can’t live without it.

Lady 3: No you can’t, I can’t. I lost my phone recently and I was lost, I didn’t know what to do. My whole life is in the calendar, it is ridiculous.

Man 3: I have got an iPhone so obviously everything is on there that I need. I can call people, text people, check my Facebook, emails, pretty much everything. It is just in my pocket really. It is not that big to carry around but you can do exactly the same stuff you do on the laptop really.

Man 2: I would be most willing to pay for content on the tablet just because of the novelty value. Because it is a little device and it is still fairly new and I can walk around with it or just play with it really.

Lady 2: I think it depends what I was buying and what I was using it for, like if it was an app specifically for my phone to kill time when I am on the bus or something like that, then yes I would probably be more willing to pay.

Man 1: Again using the smartphone. For something like a theatre ticket or something like that possibly I would go on there, through probably using something like PayPal.

Lady 4: It would probably be on my phone because it is always with me.

Man 4: The smartphone I tend to find paying is easier, because there are two ways I can pay. I can either pay for it straight through my Vodaphone account or I can pay for it straight from my card.

Lady 1: My iPad because I download TV shows on there and I can watch them. When I went on holiday I downloaded a whole series and watched that on the plane. I paid for it on iTunes.
