The landscape surrounding executive pay has continued to evolve over the last 12 months. In terms of market practice, many companies have continued to take a cautious approach and avoided making drastic changes to remuneration policies and strategies. However, whereas we have again seen moderation from many companies when it comes to reviewing base pay, a rise in incentive payments has driven an increase in total earnings for the majority of FTSE 350 director roles.
