KPMG strengthens senior DC pensions advisory team

KPMG has strengthened its specialist defined contributions (“DC”) pensions advisory team, with the appointment of Andy Seed as a director.

Andy joins from Deloitte where he recently led the London benefit advisory team. Prior to that he worked with Mercer in their pensions consulting and business development teams.

Based primarily in London, he will take on a national role to develop business and deliver advice to companies around all aspects of DC pensions as they increasingly dominate the pension provision landscape, particularly in light of auto enrolment which comes along in October 2012.

Commenting on Andy Seed’s appointment, Gurmukh Hayre, Head of DC Pensions at KPMG said:  “Andy brings a wealth of experience to our team, both in terms of specific DC pensions knowledge and also of driving business development.  We see DC pensions as presenting a significant growth opportunity for us and are delighted that he is joining us to help us achieve our ambitious expansion plans of doubling our business.”

Andy Seed commented: “I am very excited to be joining one of the largest and fastest growing pensions practices in the UK.  KPMG has really made its mark in the DC pensions market and I am looking forward to working with the team to continue this growth.”
