KPMG partner named ‘outsourcing professional of the year’ 

 

Shamus Rae, lead Partner in the Sourcing Advisory practice, KPMG in the UK, won the ‘outsourcing professional of the year’ award for 2011 at the eighth annual award ceremony of The National Outsourcing Association, which took place in London.   

 

The judges felt that Shamus showed deep domain expertise, extraordinary creativity and was a very strong candidate based on his industry experience in helping organisations with strategy, implementation and execution of change programmes.

 

Shamus has over 14 years of experience in outsourcing, shared services, offshoring and management of large programmes involving complex change in the corporate sector, public sector and banking and insurance. Prior to joining KPMG, career highlights include helping to build and sell Compass Connections, the specialist finance BPO firm, being one of the founders of WNS, now one of the largest BPO companies floated on the New York stock exchange and creating dozens of shared service centres around the world.
