KPMG is delighted to announce that that the firm has been awarded a place on the Government’s list of preferred suppliers for cloud services, known as G-Cloud 5.
The firm applied to have 16 of its cloud-based services available on the latest version of the Government’s framework and can, today, confirm that each application has been successful. The Government’s decision to appoint KPMG to the G-Cloud means that Central and Local government, the Emergency services, NHS and education bodies can benefit from support in rapidly and securely taking advantage of the benefits of adopting cloud services in the provision of public services.
Commenting on KPMG’s position on G-Cloud 5, Dave Yip, a partner in KPMG’s CIO Advisory practice, says: “We are delighted to join G-Cloud. Delivering improvements in public services at the speed citizens have come to expect requires a new approach and demands wider use of technology. The G-Cloud 5 framework offers our clients exactly what they need from service providers to respond to this challenge. It means that they can be agile, responding to the demands of their customers at a quicker pace and safe in the knowledge that the supplier they choose has been vetted as reliable.
“We are delighted to have been given the opportunity to work with Government and organisations across the public sector at a time when the demand for rapid, easy and safe access to data is driving the service UK citizens want to see. It is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a programme that will deliver solutions in public services.”
