- KPMG UK and Elsevier receive award in Finance/ Risk Management
KPMG UK was today announced as the recipient of an award from the Association of Management Consulting Firms (AMCF). Now in its third year, the AMCF Awards are given to projects that best illustrate how consulting teams add value to their clients’ organisations and society at large.

The Finance / Risk Management win came for KPMG’s work with the global publisher, Elsevier, to help transform their finance operations. The team delivered a new Oracle-based system that not only significantly improved the efficiency of their finance function, but also provided more insightful and up-to-date management information.

AMCF Awards are chosen by an independent panel of judges who assess the quality of each submission and rigorously evaluate them against detailed selection criteria in 13 different categories. The AMCF honoured the winners March 27, 2013 at a gala held at the Lighthouse at Chelsea Piers in New York City.
