Model Validation

Michael Rallings KPMG LLP (UK)

Michael's perspective on Model Validation

"Model validation is at the heart of every business. For investors in particular, a validated internal model ensures a reliable snapshot of the business at a given point in time, and provides a platform for understanding future risks and opportunities. In addition, the vision for bringing risk and capital frameworks to life also becomes clearer and more attainable with a clearer link between capital and business reality.

KPMG can bring a team of multi-skilled individuals together, offering integrated support across every aspect of your business. In constructing and validating the internal model, we bring together the Actuarial, Risk, and Finance teams bridging the inevitable gaps between the various silos of a business and its Board.

Our client-centric approach means we work in partnership with our clients; drilling down to extract maximum value from the internal model. We bring clarity to the whole process - maximising cost-efficiency and effectiveness in the key areas of model validation."
