Accounting
Update on the Thai Accounting Standards and some practical guidance on the TFRS 8: Operating Segment to be implemented from 1 January 2013.

IAS 39/IFRS 9
We will explore the impact to Thai insurers and some of the issues that need to be consider.

Legal update
Baker Mackenzie will be our guest speaker and provide a summary of the changes in the legal environment that insurers will need to consider.

HVP: Finance & Risk Transformation for Insurers
Changes in the accounting standards and regulatory reporting requirements has put increasing focus on the role of the finance and risk functions. In this session we will seek to identify some of the drivers for change, and key considerations for Thai insurers.

Note: This seminar will qualify for additinal CPD hours.
