About Lam Kok Shang

As the Head of Indirect Tax, Lam Kok Shang has some 19 years of extensive experience in assisting some of you with GST-related issues, particularly in the banking sector. He was instrumental in advising on the application for the Assisted Compliance Assurance Programme (ACAP) and has been heavily involved in indirect tax consulting over a wide range of industries – financial services, telecommunications, retail, trading and manufacturing, to name a few.


About Gan Hwee Leng

Gan Hwee Leng also has substantial experience in GST-related matters both as a regulator and as a business advisor. She was part of the IRAS GST implementation team in 1994 and was involved in the audit of GST-registered businesses. In addition, she is an ACAP and Assisted Self-help Kit reviewer in a wide range of industries and assists some of you in resolving IRAS audit queries. She also provides regional advice on custom related issues and Free Trade Agreements for import of goods into ASEAN countries. This include engaging local customs authorities on imports and trade-related matters.
