ASEAN Tax Guide

In 2007, the 10 states comprising The Association of South East Asian Nations (ASEAN) signed the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Blueprint, agreeing to form an economic community, which will transform ASEAN into a single market and production base with free movement of goods, services, investment, skilled labour, and freer flow of capital.

For businesses operating or looking to operate in the region, AEC brings a myriad of opportunities and likely challenges. What’s more, AEC presents the perfect opportunity for businesses to reassess current structures and processes, consider opportunities to streamline, create efficiencies, or take advantage of particular jurisdictional incentives. Now is the time for businesses to consider AEC in their strategic planning.
