Simplifying risk governance: getting the basics right

On 27 November 2013, KPMG and ISCA hosted a forum and panel discussion to share the results of “Towards better risk governance: a study of Singapore listed companies 2013”. Five panellists with diverse backgrounds participated and provided a wide range of perspectives on the state of disclosures for Singapore listed companies. They also expressed views on some of the key challenges and opportunities to improve the quality and substance of disclosures.
This publication gives a summary of the panel discussion and key findings from the study looking at risk governance disclosures. It also includes a list of questions for directors to ask the right questions when discharging their responsibilities in relation to risk management and internal controls.
