Only one rule – freedom of speech
In order to provide anonymity to speakers and to encourage openness and the sharing of information, meetings of the Banking Club will be held under the Chatham House Rule:
When a meeting, or part thereof, is held under the Chatham House Rule, participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed.
KPMG’s intention in setting up the Banking Club is to act as a facilitator for an exchange of views between its members. As the initiative develops, the aim is for activities of the Club to be guided by its members, for its members.
