On 20 May, KPMG's Moscow office will host the final of the Path to a Career competition for disabled students and recent graduates. The contest is run annually by Perspektiva Regional Society of Disabled People, with the support of the Business Advisory Board on Disability (BABD), which includes Citibank, Coleman, DPD, HH.ru, Microsoft, Nike, Vivaki, Marks & Spencer, KPMG in Russia and the CIS, and other companies.
The contest aims to give young people with disabilities the opportunity to find real work and highlights the untapped human resources – young, enterprising and talented specialists with disabilities, professionally trained in various fields – available to employers. All the participants are highly professional and committed.
All these skills will stand our finalists in good stead; in the competition they will have to give a presentation on themselves, undergo interviews with the jury members, and show their teamwork skills in a business game. The competitors will also have to demonstrate a serious approach to their personal and professional development and plans for the future, as well as an understanding of what they expect from their future work. At the end, they will be invited to take up internships (with possibly a job offer afterwards) at companies in the BABD.
The contest will take place on 20 May from 10:00 till 18:30 in KPMG’s Moscow office: Naberezhnaya Tower Complex, Block C, 10 Presnenskaya Naberezhnaya, Floor 31.
If you would like to attend, please send an e-mail with your name, position, company and contact details to email@example.com.
