KPMG opens tax practice in Nizhny Novgorod

KPMG continues to expand the firm’s geographical footprint when it comes to providing tax and legal services in Russian regions: following hard on the heels of KPMG Urals Regional Center, a tax practice was officially opened at Nizhny Novgorod office of the firm.

The key goal of the new practice at KPMG Volga Regional Center is to provide advisory services to the firm’s existing audit clients, and also to expand the client base of KPMG in Nizhny Novgorod by providing services to rapidly developing Russian companies and also international companies that have established or plan to establish businesses in this region.

Yulia Ledakova will be in charge of the Tax & Legal Practice of KPMG Volga Regional Center. She commented: “In our opinion, the establishment of a tax practice in Volga Region has high potential. Our primary objectives here are business development and efficiency. In this region with favourable investment climate and high business activity, the establishment of a tax practice will help us be closer to our clients and promptly react to their business needs. This is our competitive advantage and an opportunity for us to enhance our relationships with our clients and targets. I am confident that the presence of full-time tax professionals in the region will also be good support for our audit engagements.”
