Aura Giurcaneanu is a Partner and the Head of Audit at KPMG Romania, a firm that provides audit, tax and advisory services. Aura has been appointed as Head of Audit in 2010, being promoted from Partner, with a professional experience of 14 years, of which 13 were spent with KPMG as an auditor. After periods working with KPMG in the UK, in the firm's International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Group, and with KPMG's Audit practice in France, she now combines client work with the role of coordinating the IFRS desk of KPMG in Romania. Aura is a member of the UK Association of Chartered Accountants (ACCA), of the Romanian Chartered and Certified Accountants Body (CECCAR) and of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors (CAFR).
