In 2011 KPMG also appointed three new Partners. In the past three years, eight new Partners have been appointed, bringing the total to 21. The nomination of the new Partners reflects that in KPMG there is a group of talented and creative people, with differing specializations, who have been constantly encouraged and promoted by KPMG. Currently, the total number of professionals at KPMG exceeds 650.
Daniela Strusevici joined KPMG in 1996 in Bucharest and in 1999 returned to her home town of Timisoara where the company had just set up its first regional office. She is an auditor by profession, and a member of the UK-based Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), as well as the Romanian Chamber of Auditors (CAFR). As Daniela says: “It was exciting for me to develop professionally in an office which started small, but which in a few years became a powerful regional office providing a full range of audit, tax and advisory services.”
Tudor Grecu has been part of KPMG’s team dedicated to the financial sector since 2001. He is a member of ACCA and CAFR and has specialized in audits of insurance companies, investment funds and credit institutions. As Tudor says: “The financial sector has attracted a lot of public attention, and is a barometer of the economic situation. It is often the first to respond to companies’ demands for change. Our integrated services have been developed by the leading team in Romania, which is passionate and dynamic and aware of the crucial importance of this sector. My objective is to combine our energy and expertise with our clients’ current needs for innovation.”
Bogdan Vaduva has worked at KPMG since 2004. He started out as an auditor, and later extended his field of expertise to cover a wide spectrum of activity. Bogdan coordinates multidisciplinary teams in major consultancy projects involving regulated industries. Bogdan specializes in corporate finance consultancy with a focus on Energy and Utilities, Oil and Gas as well as Transportation/Infrastructure. He is a member of ACCA and has a postgraduate degree from Harvard Business School in Executive Education (Program for Leadership Development). As Bogdan comments: “I’m pleased to be joining the Partnership at KPMG, and I’m sure that together we will continue to develop our Consultancy and Mergers & Acquisitions services to the benefit of our clients, KPMG being one of the leading players in this field.”
