We work alongside governments, civil society groups and international agencies to find sustainable solutions, and our scale and combined knowledge can make a real impact.
Globally, our support and donation of skills to NGOs are making a significant contribution towards achieving the UN’s Millennium Development Goals – which include ending poverty and hunger, improving child and maternal health, providing education for all children, and combating HIV/Aids. We are making our own progress in mitigating the risk of climate change: the KPMG Global Green Initiative aims to reduce our combined global carbon footprint by 25 percent by 2010.
These issues may sometimes seem huge and insurmountable – but every day, the commitment and work of our people show that it’s possible to make a real difference within our local communities and environments.
