Tax submissions

KPMG aims to be at the forefront of thought leadership on tax policy. Tax policies entail trade-offs between efficiency and equity of the tax system, the compliance costs imposed on taxpayers and administrative costs. We aim to provide an object evaluation of these trade-offs to better inform policy makers

Each year we make a number of submissions on draft tax legislation, Government discussion documents and issues papers, and various tax interpretation statements released by New Zealand Inland Revenue.

2011
