Our partners

Paul Herrod

Paul is KPMG in New Zealand’s Chief Executive. Before being appointed to this role in July 2011, Paul was our National Managing partner for Audit and National Risk Management partner.

Paul joined the UK firm’s London office in 1981 after obtaining a BA in Physics from Oxford University. He transferred permanently to New Zealand in 1998 following a two year secondment in 1994.

Paul is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants. Paul is also a member of the New Zealand Institute’s practice review board and a trustee of the charity TYLA (Turn Your Life Around).
