Kim heads KPMG’s New Zealand Transfer Pricing and Customs Practice and is our cross border tax specialist.  She is also instrumental in the International Trade Services team.
She has a broad range of general tax, transfer pricing and customs experience, specialising in assisting New Zealand headquartered clients develop efficient global transfer pricing strategies.  Kim has significant experience advising on transfer pricing and customs issues, lobbying on customs matters and assisting companies with the transfer pricing/customs interface. 

This includes:

  • Assisting New Zealand based firms and multi-nationals with the establishment of transfer pricing policies for cross-border projects and new businesses;
  • Assisting New Zealand based ‘start-ups’ develop international tax and corporate structures that are practical and effective; and
  • Assisting numerous clients address tax regulatory matters, including negotiating rulings and Revenue Authority audits. 

Kim has an excellent reputation for her technical skills, her approach to the management of transfer pricing disputes, and her strong focus on service delivery.  She has guided a number of New Zealand based clients investing offshore, including which structure fits best and advising on the foreign tax implications and customs obligations.  Her practical experience ensures you are working with someone who has done it all before, giving you piece of mind that you are getting the best advice and practical solutions that will work for you.
Kim has the ability to communicate at the highest level, and has direct experience in presenting on transfer pricing matters to Directors, Senior Executives and Inland Revenue.
