Ceri is a Director in KPMG's Risk Advisory team in Auckland. She has been with KPMG for over thirteen years. Ceri is a specialist in IAS 39 and financial instruments accounting and has recently joined KPMG’s Treasury and Financial Risk Management team to work on wider treasury projects.

Ceri is responsible for KPMG New Zealand’s roll out of the new financial instruments accounting standard IFRS 9. During the last year she has assisted clients with transition to the new NZ IFRS 9 as well as hosting several highly successful presentations educating professionals from many of New Zealand’s largest companies on the issues around accounting for the classification, measurement and hedge accounting under the new standard.
Ceri is a member of KPMG’s international financial instruments topic team supporting the adoption of IFRS 9 globally.
Ceri is also responsible for leading KPMG’s roll out of some of the complex new regulatory and capital requirements which will impact the financial services industry over the next few years. In this capacity she attended training on the new Basel III in 2010 and will be part of a team of people working on the new insurance accounting and solvency standards. Ceri is a member of KPMG’s global network of professionals focussing on these changes.
