Statement on AFM fine

The Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) has imposed a fine on KPMG because of deficiencies found by them in the Engagement Quality Control Review (EQCR) during the period January 2008 to July 2009. In the course of 2009, KPMG has implemented a series of key measures to improve the structure and process of the Engagement Quality Control Review.
