International travel expands your horizons. It gives fresh perspective and the opportunity to learn from others. That’s why we make it easy for you to move around at KPMG. Many of our clients have a global outlook which means we need people who are both global thinkers and globally mobile.
KPMG’s global network of member firms operate in 150 countries worldwide. We assist our employees to travel by operating a Global Opportunities Program. Openings under the program range from short-term assignments of up to 3 months through to long-term engagements of 2 to 3 years duration. During the current year staff are being seconded to various countries, including: America, Channel Islands, Australia, Hong Kong, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Our interview process is designed to identify motivated, creative and focused individuals who are passionate about accountancy and delivering top-class advice to our clients. Here are KPMG’s Top 10 Tips for candidates invited to the assessment session:
- Print and review your application form before the assessment session
- Do your homework and research the firm
- Look and act the part – always wear proper business attire and greet your interviewer with a smile and a firm handshake
- Be positive and project a good attitude
- Listen carefully to each question. If you don’t fully understand a question, ask the interviewer to clarify
- Be prepared to explain why you want a career with KPMG
- Provide meaningful answers to the interviewer’s questions with specific examples
- Use a balance of academic, work experience and extra-curricular activities in your examples
- Volunteer the information. Remember, the candidate should speak for approximately 80% of the interview
- Close the interview well, ask questions, and leave a lasting impression
