Structure

KPMG International is a Swiss entity. It is the coordinating entity for a global network of independent firms. Client services are provided by KPMG member firms or by other independent firms licensed by member firms to use the KPMG name. Each KPMG firm is separate and legally distinct. KPMG International does not provide services to clients.

Leadership

Internationally, the affairs of KPMG are the responsibility of several bodies: the Global Board, the Global Executive Team and the Global Council.

KPMG in Romania and Moldova

KPMG in Romania and Moldova has 18 partners led by Serban Toader, our Senior Partner and Head of Advisory services.

Our leadership and partners are responsible for setting the firm's strategy and overseeing its implementation. They regularly review areas of fundamental importance to the firm such as operating and financial performance, annual business plans and budgets, new business proposals, marketing, technology development, remuneration, and risk management policies.

Member firms are located in 146 countries. Collectively, they employ more than 140,000 people, including over 7,000 partners, nearly 105,000 client service professionals and over 23,000 administrative and support staff.

Our member firms commit themselves to a common set of KPMG values. Firms must abide by quality standards governing how they operate and how they provide services to clients.

KPMG in Romania and KPMG in Moldova are member firms within the global KPMG network, employing more than 600 professionals, including both local and expatriate staff. Our head office is located in Bucharest, and we have expanded over the years in five other offices, in Iasi, Constanta, Timisoara, Cluj Napoca and Chisinau.

Building on our traditional values, we have grown our role into that of a comprehensive professional audit, tax and advisory firm, providing tailored, industry-specific services to meet clients' needs, whether they are multinational or local, large or small.
