“A management or investment company shall employ a risk-management process which enables it to monitor and measure at any time the risk of the positions and their contribution to the overall risk profile of the portfolio.”

Risk Management Framework

 

The risk management policy and procedures should reflect a proper risk management framework. Areas to be covered under each framework component (governance, identification, measurement, treatment and reporting) are summarised in the diagram below. For each risk exposure identified, it is best practice to consider how the risk is covered by the

relevant component of the framework.
