History

KPMG, a Jamaican partnership, is the Jamaica member firm of KPMG International, a

Swiss cooperative. KPMG is the global network of professional services firms whose aim

KPMG’s presence in the Jamaican business community spans over 100 years.

The firm began in the early 1900s as Tapley & Co, becoming Tapley Bowman & Co.

in 1923, Peat Marwick Mitchell & Co. in 1958, followed by KPMG Peat Marwick in

1987 and KPMG since 2005.
