KPMG International wins Transport Financial Advisor of the Year Award

KPMG International wins Transport Financial Advisor of the Year Award

KPMG International has been awarded Transport Financial Advisor of the Year at this year’s Infrastructure Journal Awards 2014.  The award recognises KPMG’s contribution to significant European and North American transport deals, one of which being the N11 Arklow to Rathnew/N7 Newlands Cross Upgrade Project in Ireland.

Commenting on the award, Michele Connolly, Partner with KPMG in Ireland said, “KPMG is delighted to have won the Transport Advisor of the Year award at this year’s Infrastructure Journal Awards 2014.  This award acknowledges the work we do for our clients and it is very gratifying when an independent organisation confirms that we are one of the leading names in the global and Irish infrastructure investment industry. ”

The award also recognises KPMG International’s work on The Ohio Bridges project financing in the United States, the largest ever issuance of private activity bonds in a transport P3, was instrumental in bringing to close the Gerediaga – Elorrio project in Spain and the continued to support high speed rail mandates in California and Australia while presenting a report to the House of Commons on the planned HS2 project in the UK.
