During O’Rourke’s successful six-year leadership term, KPMG increased revenues by over 16% and employee numbers from 1600 to over 1900 - reflecting the firm’s very strong performance in a time of unprecedented economic challenges.
Shaun Murphy was elected partner in 1999 and has worked with major clients across a range of industry sectors. Shaun has particularly specialised in the Irish headquartered plc, Consumer & Industrial and the privately owned Irish Business sectors and has played a key role in the development of KPMG’s tax practice.
Commenting on his successor, Terence said ‘I would like to congratulate Shaun on his election. Shaun has the experience, expertise and the personal qualities to successfully lead the outstanding professionals in KPMG.
