The festive season commenced in style at the 2011 KPMG Alumni Christmas Drinks, which took place on Friday 2 December at the historic and beautiful setting of Dublin City Hall.

A wonderful mix of old and new members of the Alumni programme turned out on the evening, with approximately 400 people attending. Terence O’Rourke, managing partner at KPMG in Ireland, welcomed everyone to Dublin City Hall and spoke about the value of keeping connected and building relationships at Alumni events throughout the year. He extended his best wishes to alumni for the festive season and the New Year.

Entertainment on the evening was provided by Vladimir Jablokov and members of the Slovak Festival Orchestra. Vladimir plays classical music in a way that appeals to all ages, and his music was thoroughly enjoyed by all in attendance at the Christmas Drinks.

A cheerful spirit filled the twelve pillars and impressive gold leaf dome in the Rotunda room at Dublin City Hall as our alumni enjoyed meeting with old acquaintances. As always, the Christmas Drinks was a lovely way to kick start the festive season and round off a busy year.
