This Customs Alert concerns Bonded Zone implementation Regulation No. PER-57/BC/2011, as amended by Regulation No. PER-2/BC/2012, related to Regulation No. 147/PMK.04/2011, amended by Regulation 255/PMK.04/2011, which was the subject of our November 2011 Customs Alert.

Existing indefinite BZ licenses are effective only until 22 May 2012, unless the BZ is not located outside an Industrial Estate. These BZ Licenses will expire on 31 December 2014.

Subcontracts with non-BZ entities remain in effect until their expiration date or 31 December 2012, whichever is sooner.

Affected BZ license holders need to initiate their renewal process as soon as possible.
