There has been a significant increase in real estate investment transactions compared to 2010 in the CEE region, a new KPMG survey amongst leading banks in the region reveals. Of the 96 countries from around the world surveyed by KPMG in the 2011 edition of its Personal Income Tax and Social Security Survey, on gross income of USD 100,000 Croatia recorded the third highest effective combined personal income tax and social security rate of 45.2%.  .
