Davos themes: Day 1 

Discussions surrounding the European Union (#EU) and Europe (#Europe) dominated the online conversations on day one of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. These emerging themes were strongly influenced by David Cameron’s speech (#Cameron) which addressed the potential of a referendum on Britain’s membership in the European Union. The Twitterverse responded boldly, demonstrating strong views on both sides of the discussion.

Both conversations demonstrate very interesting revelations about what individuals feel are the most important economic trends that should take priority in a global discussion of between world leaders.
