Werner joined Industry Funds Management ("IFM") in Melbourne in February 2006 and was subsequently seconded to the UK office in November 2007. Werner was appointed to Investment Director within IFM UK, in July 2009. Werner has been working on the origination and execution of transactions as well as asset management. Werner is responsible for IFM’s investment in 50Hertz Transmission in Germany and is a member of the supervisory board of the company. He is also a board member of IFM’s UK water and wastewater asset, Anglian Water Group.
Prior to IFM, Werner was employed by PricewaterhouseCoopers (Melbourne) in the Advisory, Risk and Value Division as a Manager specialising in valuations and financial modelling. From 2001 to 2004, he worked as an Executive with KPMG Financial Advisory Services in Vienna, Austria, advising the Austrian government in its PPP project for the Austrian truck toll system.
Werner is a Chartered Financial Analyst chartholder and holds a Master of Business Consultancy from the Fachhochschule, Wiener Neustadt (Austria) and a Graduate Certificate in Business from the Victoria University of Technology, Melbourne.
