Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Zimbabwe

 

Mr. Mutezo is the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Zimbabwe, Member of the Central Committee. He was also the Provincial Secretary for Adminstration-Manicaland Province. From 2005 to 2008 he was Minister Of Water Resources & Infrastructural Development.

 

From 1975 to 1981 he was studying in the United Kingdom and became the District Treasurer of Glasgow District in Scotland. During this period he was involved in various party activities raising money, clothes and medicines to be sent to Mozambique.

 

After his return to Zimbabwe, he took part in various projects, such as set  up training colleges and satellite colleges.

 

He is a professional Engineer with a BSC Degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA and was a Director of CMED, Wankie Colliery Company and New Ziana. He also chaired the boards of the last two companies.
