InfraMed is a $525m infrastructure fund investing in territories bordering the southern and eastern Mediterranean and Jordan. Investments to date include a port, a petrochemical facility and a 117Mw wind farm with a CCGT in the near-term pipeline.

Gary was formerly CEO of the exclusive investment advisor to Infrastructure India plc (LSE Main List), responsible for the origination and execution of infrastructure investments in India. IIP became substantially invested within four months with
stakes in projects in the transport and power sectors.

He was previously a Board Director of John Laing plc (LSE Main List), charged with managing and growing their asset portfolio. Gary joined John Laing in 2001 and left in 2007 after overseeing its sale to Henderson for in excess of £1 billion. During Gary’s tenure, John Laing plc delivered circa 45% IRR to its investors.

Gary was a former management consultant with PWC and BDO Binder Hamlyn, Head of Project Finance at merchant bank Guinness Mahon and has held senior finance positions with Dow Chemical and Allied Lyons.

He holds a Teacher’s Certificate from Durham University, is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and a Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
