Philippines - Electronic filing/payment, excise tax, VAT, withholding tax 

February 12:   The KPMG member firm in the Philippines has prepared reports on the following developments (read the January / February 2013 reports by clicking on the hyperlinks provided below):
  • Read a February 2013 report [PDF 338 KB] describing the rules for electronic filing and payment of taxes; excise tax rates on alcohol and tobacco products; tax-exemption rulings for hospitals; and value added tax (VAT) refunds on imports among other topics.
