Denmark - Taxes paid by companies for 2011 made public

December 19:  The Danish tax authorities (SKAT) today published a “register” showing the tax payments made by Danish companies.

The register (Danish) includes the following information for all companies that paid taxes in Denmark:

  • The corporate income tax calculated for the income year 2011V
  • The taxable income for the income year 2011 minus losses from previous income years
  • Losses from previous income years, which have been offset in the year in question

With the register, it is possible to search for taxpayer information by company name and by business registered number (i.e., CVR number).

The information on companies’ tax payments concerns the latest income year—i.e., income year 2011. The information is based on the latest tax assessment notice sent by SKAT for the income year. The public register will be continually updated as income adjustments are registered.

In relation to “jointly taxed” (consolidated) companies, the joint income for the consolidated taxation group will be published, but specific information is only listed for the “administration company.” Companies participating in the joint taxation will be named. However, there is no specific tax information regarding each subsidiary.
