Bulgaria - VAT changes 

March 22: Changes to Bulgaria’s value added tax (VAT) law were implemented by regulations published in the state gazette on 28 February 2013. The changes concern:
  • VAT on supplies provided between a head office and branches (i.e., involving Bulgaria and the EU)
  • Adjustments for deductions of input VAT
  • Clarifications of the rules for electronic invoices
  • Invoices for supplies received under a self-billing procedure
  • Extension of the period (from 30 days to 45 days) on submission of list of goods and/or services received in merger or transfer of a going concern, or with respect to an in-kind contribution
