Argentina - Registration for capital, telecommunications sectors under incentives regime

September 27: Guidance from Argentina’s Ministry of Industry (Ministerio de Industria) concerns changes to an incentive regime for capital, information technology, and telecommunication sectors.

The guidance (or resolution) focuses on legal representatives and registration in Argentina, and provides an extension of a registration period.

Resolución N° 174 (effective 11 September 2013) provides rules concerning the legal representation of taxpayers when submitting documentation. The list of registered representatives will be available on the ministry’s website for public access.

The resolution provides a 12-month extension for registration for certain taxpayers, including those whose registration period had not expired before 30 April 2013.
