United Kingdom - Partnerships, tax policy (draft Finance Bill 2014) 

January 17: The House of Lords Economic Affairs Committee established a Finance Bill sub-committee to inquire into the draft Finance Bill 2014 (as published 10 December 2013).

A “call for evidence” has been published, indicating the sub-committee will focus on two areas:

  • The draft clauses relating to the taxation of partnerships included in the draft Finance Bill
  • The implementation of the government’s new approach to tax policymaking
