Panama - Transfer pricing declaration form due by 30 June

June 12: Taxpayers subject to the transfer pricing rules in Panama must file a report by 30 June 2014 for the tax year ended 31 December 2013—i.e., six months after the end of the tax year.

The report is to be filed on Formulario 930 (Form 930) and include information about related-party transactions (i.e., demonstrate the arm’s length nature of these related-party transactions).

In addition, taxpayers must prepare a transfer pricing study that documents the functions, assets, and risks involved in the transactions conducted with foreign related-party entities; must indicate which valuation methods were selected and which comparable entities were selected (among other information); and must maintain the transfer pricing study in the taxpayer’s corporate offices and must provide the study to the tax authorities when requested.
