KPMG in MESA welcomes senior tax leaders 

KPMG’s MESA Tax practice is pleased to welcome these new and returning tax professionals to its Tax leadership team.

Craig Richardson – KPMG in Qatar and Bahrain

Craig Richardson has joined the Tax practice of KPMG in Qatar and Bahrain. Craig has more than 28 years of professional services experience in many locations, including South Africa, Hong Kong and Moscow, and has been a Tax partner for more than 19 years. Most recently, Craig developed and led the Tax and Legal Practice in KPMG in the Ukraine. Craig’s current focus is expanding the Tax practice in Qatar and Bahrain, including the development of new service offerings such as corporate services, customs, tax management services and outsourcing.

Kashif Jahangiri – KPMG in Saudi Arabia

Kashif Jahangiri has joined KPMG in Saudi Arabia as Head of Tax for Jeddah. Kashif has been with KPMG for more than two decades, having worked with KPMG’s member firms in Pakistan and Ireland and as a Director with the Firm’s Global Centre of Excellence in Islamic Finance. Kashif is an active member of KPMG’s Global Steering Group on Islamic Finance.

Jyothi Kasi – KPMG in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

After an eight-month sabbatical, Jyothi Kasi rejoined the Tax practice of KPMG in the UAE in a part-time Partner role. She will be supporting Nilesh Ashar in servicing the requirements of clients in the UAE including outbound and outbound taxation issues, international corporate tax, and transfer pricing. Jyothi has over 17 years experience with KPMG in India and in the UAE, and she has worked with KPMG in UAE for the past seven years.
