User feedback on classification and measurement proposals

Having continued its outreach activities on proposed amendments to the classification and measurement requirements of IFRS 9, the IASB focused on feedback from users of financial statements at its joint meeting with the FASB in June.

During the meeting, the FASB also considered feedback received on its own proposals for the recognition and measurement of financial assets and financial liabilities. The Boards plan to begin joint redeliberations on specific issues from July 2013.
