Episode 5: A new dawn 

Edge Zarrella, Global Head, IT Advisory, KPMG LLP — KPMG has been playing in China for a long time. We have been watching the growth in the industry. We think it is now time for our multinational, national, and regional clients to look at what is happening in China, especially in sourcing. We are seeing a start of a vibrant industry. Even in turbulent times like this, China is going to be on the rise in the sourcing space.

Gary Matuszak, Global Chair, Information, Communications & Entertainment, KPMG LLP — I think what we will see over the next 3–4 years is the outsourcing industry in China becoming very significant and growing to the point, where eventually it will be at par with the size, scope, and breadth of what we currently see in India.

Edge Zarrella — Our focus on China sourcing in this new piece of thought leadership is called ‘A New Dawn’. I think this is a seismic shift that is occurring in sourcing which is a start of the IT industry in India 20 years ago. This is going to provide the world with significant resources to address the infrastructure, skills, new technologies, and products that we are going to see in the market. This is going to be a new day for outsourcing worldwide.
