This briefing sheet summarises the status of the current projects of the International Accounting Standards Board. It reflects discussions of the IASB up to and including those that took place at the February 2010 IASB and joint meetings with the US Financial Accounting Standards Board, together referred to as the Boards, and the most recent timetable released by the IASB on 4 March.
The project summaries that follow provide an overview of each project, including the major areas of existing IFRSs that may be affected by the project, highlight convergence issues if applicable and identify IASB documents related to the project and the latest estimates of the timing to completion.
