Internationally, the affairs of KPMG are the responsibility of several bodies.

Global Board
The Global Board is the principal governance and oversight body. The key responsibilities of the Board include approving long-term strategy, protecting and enhancing the KPMG brand, and approving policies and regulations. The Board includes the Chairman, the Deputy Chairman, the Chief Executive Officer and the Chairman of each of our three regions (the Americas; Asia Pacific; and Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India).

Global Executive Team
The Global Executive Team is the principal management body comprised of the Chairman, Deputy Chairman, CEO, global practice heads, regional leaders and seven senior partners. Among other things, the Global Executive Team drives the execution of the strategy approved by the Global Board and establishes processes to monitor and enforce policy compliance. 

Global Council
The Global Council focuses on high-level governance tasks and facilitates discussion with and between the member firms. It includes representation from 54 member firms.
