Methodology

All gathered information is treated with the strictest confidentiality and compensation details are solely used for statistical analysis. KPMG in Greece processes and analyses the collected data and produces the compensation results that are presented in the form of two separate reports: the general report, which brings together the data of all companies and is applicable to all business sectors, and a number of separate sector reports, which refer to specific business sectors.

Each report is divided into two parts:

  • The first part presents general information about the remuneration policies and practices of the participating firms.
  • The second part includes the individual compensation report tables and provides information about the remuneration and benefits for distinct positions.

The compensation data of each job position is further analyzed with the use of a broad range of differentiating factors (job match, turnover and personnel volumes, business sector and ownership). This analysis facilitates comparisons among companies with similar size and features.

Additionally, the general report includes graphical depiction of senior management positions' remuneration, as well as Human Resources trends for the last sixteen years.
